Calum is an inspirational and empathetic piano teacher who emphasises the importance of sight reading and theory, creating a holistic understanding of piano playing. Whether beginner or advanced, Calum uses Bartok Mikrokosmos, Hindemith and Bach Chorale books as well as a range of other resources to build a proper foundation of musicianship. Using these foundational skills, students will have the freedom to learn any repertoire they desire, whether it be pieces they've always wanted to learn, or for exams (ABRSM or Trinity).
