Shubhan Ayer, BMus
Piano

Shubhan Iyer is a concert pianist, accompanist and educator based in London. He studied a Bachelor of Music at the University of Huddersfield with Sally Ann Macleod, finishing with a first-class honours and class valedictorian. He also won a scholarship to study at Chetham’s International Piano Summer School, studying with concert pianists such as Pete Donohoe.

As a pianist and recitalist, Shubhan has performed at various venues across the UK, including the Southbank Centre, Dartmouth House, Huddersfield Town Hall, and Wakefield Cathedral, to name a few. He’s also a sought-after soloist and accompanist, with experience playing with a plethora of instruments in exams, competitions and masterclasses.

In his teaching experience, Shubhan has had students who have gone on to secure distinctions in grade 8 and diploma exams with the Trinity College London Examinations.
