Karen Kung, MA, BA

Karen Kung is a piano and violin teacher with experience teaching students of all ages, from young children to adults. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in from the Education University of Hong Kong, where she graduated with First Class Honours and was recognized on the Dean's List for her outstanding achievements. Karen is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Creative Music Production at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, further enriching her knowledge and skills in the field of music.

 

Throughout her career, Karen has honed her teaching skills and performed both in Canada and Hong Kong. In Canada, she worked as a piano teacher at the Montessori Children's House, nurturing young musical talents. In Hong Kong, she served as a violin teacher at Little Flower's Catholic Primary School. In 2022, Karen had the opportunity to join the faculty of Aureus Academy, Singapore's leading music school. She excelled as a Piano, Violin, and Music Exploration Teacher, imparting her knowledge and passion to students under her guidance.

 

Karen's career highlights showcase her exceptional musical talent. She has had the privilege of performing at the President's House at the University of Saskatchewan. Additionally, she has achieved remarkable success in music competitions, winning first place in the Baroque Class at the Saskatchewan Music Festival and securing second place in the Beethoven Class.
