Originally from East Yorkshire, Laura is an instrumentalist and singer/songwriter based in South-East London. Laura holds a BMus in Percussion and Drum Kit from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she graduated in 2016. Laura was the Musical Director for Saga Cruises on board the Saga Pearl II in 2016/2017 and since has pursued a range of freelance musician work in London. Laura is the lead singer of all-female string-based ensemble ‘Chiqas’, which performs at private functions and events around the UK. Laura also has experience singing with and piano accompaniment for gospel choirs, solo artists and other instrumentalists. Laura has recently completed a UK Tour playing keys for singer/songwriter Jennifer Owens. Laura also has more than 10 years teaching experience on both percussion and piano, where she has helped students achieve high marks for Trinity and ABRSM examinations.
