Teaching people is my passion and I love to see my students succeed.

I recently embarked on a long term placement where I was given the opportunity to teach Music (performing arts) at an SEN school in Roehampton, but I eventually left to focus on Piano teaching.

In the 6 years that I taught there I encountered many marvellous and capable neurodiverse students who had very creative ways of thinking and who, when encouraged,  were able to achieve far more than they ever thought they were capable of.

Within my one to one lessons I enjoy teaching using ios/android apps that students can engage with and that are fun.

My students are taught to develop a level of autonomy over their own learning which can help positively influence all areas of their education.

I originally started teaching Piano over 15 years ago and have carried many students through their Associated Board exams.

In 2020 I had one of my long term students achieve a distinction at Grade 8 in Trinity Music.

My qualifications include a Diploma in Piano (ATCL) and a degree in Music (Bmus) and Level 5 diploma in Education and Training.
